Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Country Manager you will provide a comprehensive recruitment service to the UK Essity business by giving accurate and timely advice, guidance, and support, ensuring the business has the right people in the right place at the right time.

This is a part time fixed term contract role for 12 months working 18 hours per week.

Main Tasks

  • As a key member of the acquisition team in the UK, you will contribute to the implementation of the Talent Acquisition strategy
  • Partner with the HR team and the hiring managers, taking the lead on external recruitment campaigns allocated to you based on geography and business departments
  • Leading on all external and internal advertising for positions in own business area
  • Screen and present  viable resumes and/or qualified candidates to hiring managers
  • Run phone interviews/on line interviews with identified candidates and debrief hiring manager accordingly
  • Providing a first class recruitment support and guidance service that is both pragmatic and business focused
  • Monitor and evaluate the impact of the recruitment activity, including key metrics, candidate calibre and attrition
  • Engage and manage candidates with appropriate follow-up and feedback to emphasise the Essity employment brand and maintain integrity in the candidate process
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system, generating data as required
  • Develop cost efficient resourcing methods, utilising online recruitment tools and social media
  • Develop effective relationships with managers and become an integral part of the business department you support
  • Support managers to efficiently handle recruitment needs, ensuring the business is protected from risk and the fair treatment of employees
  • Help coach and develop managers to equip them with the appropriate tools and knowledge to effectively resource their teams
  • Engage and manage candidates with appropriate follow-up and feedback to emphasise the Essity employment brand and maintain integrity in the candidate process

Key Competencies

Essential

  • Previous work in recruitment either in an agency or in-house setting
  • Excellent telephone interview and assessment skills
  • Planning and organising recruitment activity
  • Strong stakeholder relationships and management
  • Has strong analytical skills
  • Generalist knowledge within a similar or related health and hygiene or manufacturing industry.
  • Relationship management – external & internal
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office)
  • Sound knowledge of employment law
  • Self-disciplined and motivated

 Desirable

  • Co-ordinated recruitment and selection processes in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • University degree level in related discipline such as (but not limited to) Business, Marketing, English, Psychology
  • CIPD qualified or working towards
