General administrator position

Expansion and a re-shuffle has created a vacancy in our small, friendly and innovative company based in Sowerby Bridge, West Yorkshire. We will consider both part and fulltime applications.

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and competent person into a varied, mainly office-based role to look after aspects of stock control, sales and purchase order processing and general office duties. Although the position is mainly office-based, we anticipate that you would have some involvement with picking and packing customer orders. The role will be very varied and full training and support will be given as required.

It will be essential to us that you show and use good initiative. Equally important is the ability to work well on your own, as well as part of a small team.

A good understanding and competence on Excel spreadsheets, Word documents and Outlook is essential; an understanding of or experience with Sage 50 accounts software is preferred but not essential. A good telephone manner is also important to us.
