JOB TITLE: Legal Secretary
SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive salary negotiable dependent on experience
WORKING HOURS: Full time – 35 hours per week

THE ROLE: As a Legal Secretary, based in Melton Mowbray, you will work with and offer a wide range of high level administrative support to Solicitor's and other colleagues in an efficient and proactive manner. This could encompass working in a range of departments.

Key Responsibilities for the Legal Secretary role include:

- Audio and digital dictation typing

- Production of letters, legal documents and court bundles

- Handling telephone queries

- Client liaison

- General office duties such as photocopying and filing

THE CANDIDATE: As a Legal Secretary, the ideal candidate will be experienced having previously worked within a busy office environment in a Secretarial / Administrative role and will have previous experience within the Legal industry. You must have excellent organisational & typing skills and previous experience in digital dictation or audio typing is essential for this role. Applicants need to be extremely accurate and reliable, posses great attention to detail, and have the ability to work with people on all levels.

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the Legal Secretary role in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire :-

- Must have previous working experience working in a busy Administrative or Secretarial role
- Have experience in/or a good understanding of the Legal sector
- Must be an organised person who is flexible in their approach to work
- Excellent typing skills are essential and you must have experience in audio or digital dictation typing
- Must be accurate and have excellent attention to detail
- Must have a polite telephone manner with both good written and face to face communication skills
- Must live in or be able to easily commute to Melton Mowbray
