JOB TITLE: Payroll Administrator

SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive dependant on experience + company benefit scheme

THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a well-established, leading automotive retailer with a strong reputation. They operate dealerships across the South East and East Anglia representing Audi, BMW/MINI, Ford, SEAT, Jaguar and many more. Due to continued success they are now looking to expand their Payroll team and have an exciting position for a Payroll Administrator to work from the Head Office in Portslade, Brighton.

THE ROLE: As the Payroll Administrator you will be assisting with the administration function of the payroll department. You will join the team of two who coordinate the payroll for a proportion of the companies workforce.

Key Responsibilities for the Payroll Administrator role to include:-

• Collating all information relating to the processing of all the monthly payroll’s for the group including details of the following; new starters, adjustments to contract details, additional payments, including bonus, commissions and overtime payments, leavers
• Preparing files for sending salaries to the bank
• Running all payroll reports.
• Updating monthly payroll into the next period.
• Checking and balancing monthly payroll accounts
• Updating all payroll spreadsheets in preparation for next payroll
• General administration relating to the smooth function of the payroll department

THE CANDIDATE: The successful applicant will need to have the ability to work to deadlines ad targets within a high pressured environment. You will have strong organisational and multi-tasking skills along with having confident and professional communication skills. It is desirable that you have experience working within the Automotive industry however this is not essential.

Key experience essential for the role of the Payroll Administrator:-

• Minimum of 12 months experience working within Payroll
• Good Excel skills
• Live within a commutable distance to Portslade, Brighton
