JOB TITLE: Financial Manager

LOCATION: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

SALARY & BENEFITS: 40k/50k dependant on experience (Pro rata for Part-time)- Terms and conditions include contributory pension scheme, life assurance, private healthcare, 27 days holiday

WORKING HOURS: Full-time role: 36.25 hrs per week. Monday – Wednesday 8.30 – 5.00, Thursday 8.30- 16.45, Friday 8.30-16.00 (Part time 3 days a week considered)

THE ROLE: Financial Manager- Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Manager to take full responsibility for the accounting function within the company..

Key Responsibilities to include:- Financial Manager- Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

• Maintaining accurate and complete accounting records for both statutory and management reporting purposes
• Preparation of monthly management accounts, Bank, VAT, budget reconciliations, income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders/partners/members, tax returns.
• Preparation of payroll information
• Credit control, stocktaking and payments to suppliers
• Oversees the accounting department, budget preparation and audit functions.
• Maintains all confidential files (e.g. accounting records, personnel records, etc.)

THE CANDIDATE: Financial Manager- Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

The successful candidate will ideally have considerable experience of working within an engineering/software company, although this is not essential and be specifically responsible for the preparation of monthly management accounts, cash flow and liaison with external agencies.

Essential Requirements

• Extensive experience in a cash flow financial management role
• Excellent numerical, analytical, business planning, problem-solving, communication, motivational and interpersonal skills.
• Ideally, hold a recognised qualification in finance & accounting
