JOB TITLE: Legal Secretary

SALARY & BENEFITS: Competitive dependant on experience and 28 days holiday + bank holidays

WORKING HOURS: Monday – Friday 9am - 5pm

THE COMPANY: We are currently working with a specialist law firm who concentrate solely on Criminal and Family Law based in Doncaster. They are currently seeking a Legal Secretary to support the Childcare Department.

THE ROLE: As a Legal Secretary you will provide comprehensive and administrative service to clients, immediate Line Managers and Head of the Care Departments to ensure a smooth efficient running of the Care Department Office.

Key Responsibilities for the Legal Secretary role to include:-

General File Management including setting up files, creating clients, matters and cases.
Maintaining neat and tidy files
Updating Bundles
Drafting Court Applications
Legal Aid Agency Applications & Amendments
Legal Aid Agency Payments on Account
Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service Point of Contact
Expert Point of Contact
Audio, copy and general typing
Diary Management
Distribute Post & Messages to relevant Fee Earners
Point of Contact for Clients i.e. for appointments and queries
Filing & Photocopying
Provide basic cover for the Care Department Administrator during leave and sickness
Operating Law Fusion

THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has the ability to prioritise work effectively, work to tight deadlines and have good knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Key experience essential for the role of the Legal Secretary :-

Have experience in a similar role and/or has worked in a Legal environment
Has experience using Microsoft Office
Lives within a commutable distance to Doncaster
