About the role

The Property Operations Assistant will support’s property acquisition and management processes. Working as part of the Property Team, you will be responsible for identifying suitable properties to purchase for our portfolios. You will work closely with external parties, via phone and email, to gather necessary information in order to assess each potential purchase, putting forward recommendations for new acquisitions.

The role is currently part-time, initially at 2 days per week. For the right candidate, there is potential to increase working days in the future, and then to progress quickly in a fast-growing company.

What you’ll be doing   

  • Gathering and analysing information from several sources to assess potential properties for purchase
  • Creating ‘Investment cases’ for prospective purchases for review by the Investment Committee
  • Working with external parties including sales agents and lettings agents
  • Managing the acquisition process of relevant properties
  • Ensuring tight control over property documentation

  • Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to multitask     
  • Self-starter with ability to work proactively and independently
  • Computer literacy and comfortable learning to use new software
  • Previous work experience (in any industry)
  • Previous work experience required
