About the role

As part of our vision to create an outstanding Disability Service we are looking for a dynamic, forward thinking individual to join our established management team as a Team manager.

You will help develop new integrated working across Children’s and Adults Social Care. You will manage multi -disciplinary teams consisting of Social Workers, Family Support Workers and a Consultant Social Worker. In addition to this, you will also have responsibility for managing resources and budgets, quality assurance, performance, chair and attend complex strategy meetings and evidence giving in Court. A key part of this role involves working in collaboration with others and key stakeholders.

About you

You will be able to demonstrate high standards for social work practice and have experience of supervising Social Workers or Students. The successful candidate will have practical experience of delivering good quality service across children’s and adults team. In addition to this, we are seeking candidates who can deliver great practice, promote new concepts and a learning culture. You will share our vision for innovation, creativity and relationship-based approaches and deliver the best possible outcomes for local children, adults and their families.

Special Requirements for this Post

A professional Social Work qualification and HCPC Registration is required for this post. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and a comprehensive screening process will be undertaken on successful applicants including an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check.
