We have an opportunity for an Events Sales Executive to join our amazing Event Sales Team here at the ME London Hotel.Reporting to the Director of Social Events, you will work alongside the Senior Events Sales Executive to actively sell/book and orchestrate F&B Events within the ME London. This role is solely working with F&B/Events to create unique and tailored events for our guests.Previously we have hosted spectacular events such as car launches, press junkets, press days, weddings, gala dinners for up to 250 guests, exhibitions and drinks receptions in our flexible events space. In addition, you have the rest of the hotel to 'play' with, including our fabulous STK Restaurant and Award Winning Radio Rooftop Bar.This role would suit someone who thrives in a busy working environment; someone who is dynamic, extremely well organised and has the ability to form strong relationships with guests and colleagues.You will be responsible for handling incoming enquiries, booking show arounds with the clients, converting the business to a booking, creating contracts and planning the event from start to finish. Finally following up with the billing. In addition, you will also be required to network with clients in the F&B Outlets so the successful candidate will need to be flexible with their working hours as the job requires working some evenings and weekends.You will be working as part of a team to achieve a shared target of reaching the events monthly revenue. Knowledge of Opera Sales and Catering & a minimum 1 Year Events experience in a 5* Hotel/Venue or Agency; London knowledge is desirable
