MAMA.codes is looking for Freelance Tutors to supplement our existing local Mini franchisees - aka ‘Reps’. Our Reps teach and promote unique creative code clubs in their local areas to children aged 3-8 years.

Our freelance Tutors, however, will work in agreed locations across London and the Home Counties as the support network for our Reps. They need to have real practical experience and/or a qualification teaching or managing groups of young children, as well as in the delivery of a class and/or a curriculum.

To meet the huge parental demand we have (which is very exciting!), freelance tutors will teach the classes and home tutoring sessions that local Reps can’t teach personally. These will take place in community code clubs, at school venues and in host families’ homes. Our particular focus areas now are SE24 and NW London as we have significant demand (but please apply regardless!).

We are looking for tutors who are not after the responsibility and commitment of running a mini-franchise as our Reps do - but instead are happy to be trained to teach pre-supplied materials at pre-arranged code clubs and home tutoring sessions for £25/hr for a 45-min class. This will be in exchange for a commitment of a number of teaching hours per month (neg).

We take zero commission from you - we believe your experience as a teacher or tutor means you should keep the full value of your work. We are looking for applicants who are :

  • Punctual
  • Organised
  • Reliable
  • Conscientious….and of course love children!

If you’re interested in joining us, please click apply and complete a questionnaire so that we can check your availability and the areas you’d be happy to cover.

We look forward to hearing from you!
