We’re on the look out for an experienced Account Director with loads of experience working with global FMCG clients, to join the London studio.

As an Account Director you’ll own the day to day relationship, coaching a range of clients on how to solve business problems through activating their brand. You’ll work with the award winning talent around you to deliver work to your clients that is on time, on brief and importantly on budget.

With a passion for design and the ability to develop effective brands, our ideal candidate will be from a strategic agency and have worked with a range of FMCG clients. Developing a knowledge of the client’s business, their products, trends and insights will be vital, as will the ability to convert this into great content.

Whilst it’s vital you can support your clients on achieving their brand goals, it’s equally as important that this business is profitable to Elmwood and therefore your KPIs will include the delivery of revenue targets associated with your client portfolio and accurate forecasting/minimising write-offs. Being able to build and maintain long lasting and profitable relationships will be key, as will be the ability to identify and activate new streams of work.

We’re looking for someone with an agile mind and inquisitive nature, an organised and proactive self starter and someone who will delight clients by bringing amazing options to the table. Our perfect candidate will be someone who has a strategic mind who gets enjoyment and reward from being stuck into the detail on a day-to-day basis.

Our ideal candidate will have an outstanding track record and proven experience in a similar strategic role (3+ years). With exceptional strategy and design experience working with brands. You will have a thorough understanding of different client industries/categories. Innovative and a great idea generator you will be customer focussed, an amazing networker, talking the talk and delighting customers. With strong financial management and commercial acumen you will be a first class communicator who can comfortably negotiate and challenge.
