What we do?

At KPMG in the UK, we continue to transform audit to help unlock value for our clients. We’re leading the debate on the future shape of corporate reporting through our Restoring Trust initiative. And we’re raising the bar for audit quality. How? By leveraging our advanced technology and data analytics to interpret ever-greater quantities of information. By drawing on the natural curiosity and inquisitive minds of our highly-skilled people to provide deeper and more robust client insights.

But technology is meaningless without the talent to drive it. So we’re investing in our extraordinary people like never before. We’re giving them challenges that will fuel their ambitions, digital tools to further enhance the quality of their work and the scope they need to innovate – to help us redefine how audit is delivered.

What you’ll be doing?

As external auditors, our job is fundamentally to underpin trust. We play a key role in providing the confidence that business and society needs, whether that’s supporting investment decisions in the capital markets, providing clarity over the governance of public sector expenditure or facilitating the development of small to large enterprises.

Our work touches almost everybody and we now have an opportunity for an Audit Manager to work part-time on audit and assurance engagements, to consistently deliver quality, an unparalleled client experience and profitable growth.

What we are looking for?

  • Professionally qualified with a recognised accountancy body, ACA, ACCA or CPA or country equivalent
  • Significant experience as a Manager in an external audit capacity
  • Analyses complex business situations to identify key issues and priorities
  • Strong project management techniques including decision-making ability, analytical skills, time management, organisation and evaluative skills
  • Proven research skills e.g. information seeking and knowledge sharing, understanding and interpreting information
