We are recruiting for a successful, family run organisation who are
looking to bring into their business an Office Manager/Bookkeeper.

This role will be working Monday to Friday, 25 hours per week.

Key responsibilities as the Office Manager will include:

-Extensive diary and inbox management for the team, scheduling
meetings and prioritising tasks as required

-Organising the office layout and maintaining supplies of stationery
and equipment

-General telephone enquiries

Key responsibilities as the Bookkeeper will include:

-Timely and accurate VAT return submission and payment following
positive confirmation from management

-Entry into the accounting package of all available sales and purchase
invoices (to ensure that there is minimal coding directly from the
bank)

-Appropriate document retention of all tax point documentation

About You:

-Previous experience with bookkeeping within practice, working to
tight deadlines

-VAT and all the other general business reporting requirements

-Qualifications are not essential, experience is more important

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Strong time management skills

-Highly competent in the use of Microsoft Office

-Accurate attention to detail

-Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

-Construction or Real Estate experience required
