Position: Management Accountant
Location: Little Bridge House, Barnstaple, EX31 2PZ
Job type: Part Time, Temporary, anticipated end date March 2019
Hours: 15 to 22.5 hours per week, 9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Thursday, 9.00am to 4.30pm on Friday with 30 minutes to be taken for lunch between 12.00 to 2pm or at a time convenient to the organisation.
Salary: £33,057 per annum pro rata

About the role:
You will be responsible for supporting the preparation of the annual budgets and with the preparation of monthly management account reports, commentaries and financial statement analysis, providing support to budget holders on management accounting principles.
The position is also required to support and assist other members of the finance team in a range of financial compliance, reporting and analysis work.
Applicants will have experience of providing professional services within a Finance Department working at a relatively high level including the generation of management accounts via computerised systems and delivering financial analysis and forecasting. Confidence and the ability to use initiative, a positive attitude and supportive team working is essential.
An accounting qualification such as CIMA or CIPFA together with excellent Excel will be essential and experience of Open Accounts would be a significant advantage.
