Head of Fundraising (Part Time - hours negotiable)
We are currently working with an exciting youth charity based in Corby to recruit their first Head of Fundraising on a part time basis. This is a pivotal role for the charity which works with young people to enhance their life skills, and will allow the organisation to ensure that their sporting programmes are affordable and accessible to all. They have a very strong and established team of sporting Ambassadors across the world of sport and have already established networks and secured corporate sponsorship and you will build upon these relationships in order to secure their future. With overall responsibility for developing and implementing their fundraising strategy to meet their targets over the next 5 years you will have experience across a broad range of fundraising income streams including trusts and foundations, community and fundraising events and major donors. The organisation are flexible on the shape of this role and the opportunity exists for the right person to grow, develop and shape this role and their career. Working closely with the Managing Director you will need to be aware of developments in trust and grant fundraising, and national fundraising activities, to identify how they can attract additional funding (including tracking new policies, political changes and funding trends for key donors) and develop and maintain a system for reviewing upcoming bids and tenders. Travel will be required to their Head Office in Corby but as a national charity there will also be travel required and you will also have the flexibility to be homebased as may be required.
