Female Family Support Worker
Our daughter is 10 years old and as parents we are looking to recruit support workers to join our small home care team who will care for her. Our daughter has Cerebral Palsy which presents her with many challenges. However, she is an exuberant and extremely sociable young girl with a great sense of humour who thoroughly enjoys playing games, cooking, arts/crafts and pursuing her leisure interests of skiing, sailing, swimming and theme parks.
We need someone who has a fun energetic personality and can keep up with a dynamic young girl. You must be experienced in supporting young children with special needs, in particular with a child who has both physical and communication difficulties.
Weekends and school holidays: 8am to 5pm, 9am to 5pm, 5pm to 9pm and 5pm to 10pm.
Term time: weekdays (Monday to Friday) various shifts between 6.45am to 11am and 2.30pm to 10pm.
Enhanced DBS child & adult work force disclosure check will be pursued.
Rates: weekday £14.00 per hour and weekends £16.00 per hour
£78.30 per sleep-in night shift Monday to Sunday
