Heating Services Supervisor
About the role
Through effective supervision, ensure that Aster Property provides an affordable, profitable, efficient, compliant and customer-orientated Mechanical maintenance to Gas & Oil central heating systems.
Be the nominated supervisor for the specified area of the business and to assist the Installation supervisor whenever required to deliver a programme of boiler replacements and modernisation of Domestic Heating Installations, responding to isolated replacements in a timely and efficient manner.
Deliver cyclical servicing, inspection and testing of fossil fuelled appliances subject to an annual safety inspection and all associated equipment forming part or the whole part of heating and hot water services. Respond to breakdowns and deliver repairs.
Accept responsibility for the completion of work by others and be responsible for the supervision of a team of heating engineers. Actively work across regions to assist colleagues or when required and requested to do so by the Mechanical Manager, providing support during peak demand to enable a consistent level of service delivery.

To succeed in this role you will hold:
- Qualification in one or more M&E trades
- Gas Safe Registration
- Oftec Registration.
- ACS in Domestic Natural Gas Safety
- ACS in Cooking Appliances
- ACS in Fires and Wall Heaters
- ACS in Water Heating Appliances
- ACS in Heating Boilers up to 70kw
Significant experience of Trade staff supervision across a range of circumstances and experience in the service and repair of domestic gas heating systems. With working knowledge of current Health and Safety with particular reference to the building and construction sector.
Have clear and concise communication skills both verbal and written. have the ability to develops strong and productive working relationships with peers, line reports, external contacts and other colleagues.
