About the role
Aster Group are recruiting for a Neighbourhood Assistant to work in our team. You will deliver excellent, comprehensive and proactive housing and neighbourhood management services to residents and provide assistance to the Neighbourhood team.
The role involves providing an efficient service to the Neighbourhood Officers assisting with diary management, booking appointments and providing advice and guidance to customers whilst keeping their records updated. Additionally, the Neighbourhood Assistant will produce follow up letters, as well as dealing with front line enquiries, face to face, via e-mail and our website as well as by telephone.
The successful candidate will have at least 4 GCSEs grade A-C including Maths and English coupled with experience of office based administrative procedures and practices, you’ll need to be used to handling challenging situations with a wide variety of customers, you will need a basic understanding of housing law. You will have experience of using Microsoft products including Word, Access, Excel and Outlook, and be flexible in your approach. A valid driving licence and access to transport for work purposes is essential for this role.
