What is the role?

The partnership is looking for someone who, working with other senior colleagues, will build on the progress made with the integration of the Health and Social Care Partnership in South Ayrshire over the last three years. We need a visionary leader with a health or social care background, who has robust and effective leadership and management skills to energise and empower teams to create a culture of creativity, collaboration and self-determination. Following a challenging few years in South Ayrshire we have recently refocused and restructured in order that we deliver on our vision “working together for the best health and wellbeing of our communities”. Our ambition is to:
- Create a culture where we work in partnership with our citizens and our communities to enable people to exercise choice and control and improve their outcomes.
- Provide proactive and proportionate services, shifting activity towards prevention and early intervention.
- Create best value across the system by sharing and allocating resources efficiently across the health and care system and prioritising resources to reduce health inequalities.
With management responsibility for 620 staff and a budget of £15.5m the Service Manager for Registered Services will be a key post in delivering our ambitions.

The Grade of this post is Grade 4 / Level 14, the hourly rate is from £25.29 to £26.84 and the annual salary is from £46,154 to £48,983. (NHS Band 8B).
