Assistant Manager (Transfers)
An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager in the Transfers Team based in our Leeds office. The role is varied in a busy and evolving environment.
What you will be doing
Reporting to the Settlement and Transfers Manager, you will facilitate the movement of assets on behalf of our clients as well as providing cover for the Settlement and Transfers Manager.
You will responsible for ensuring that there are clear records of movements in order to monitor and resolve exceptions.
The Assistant Manager is the escalation point for queries, therefore, it is essential that you can deal with queries in a professional efficient manner.
Managing day to day operations and workloads across your team, as well as developing their skills and knowledge to ensure that they deliver a professional service and excellent client service. In addition, you will support the induction process to ensure new starters are integrated into the team.
What you will bring
You’ll have a keen eye for detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as developed prioritisation and organisational skills. You will be able to demonstrate tact, diplomacy and influencing skills.
Your management style should be approachable, adaptable, accommodating whilst at the same time gaining commitment from your team and delivering required standards and targets. We will need you to support the team, be confident in using your initiative and thrive working under pressure and to tight deadlines.
