We have an opportunity for a Construction (Design and Management) Assurance Manager to join our Health and Safety Department.

Purpose:

To ensure that the whole of Asset Management and Maintenance and where required other activities undertake by the Group complies with all statutory health, safety and welfare provisions with particular regard for construction, design and management (CDM).

The CDM Assurance Manager will also have a primary role in developing, maintaining and reviewing Aster’s policy and procedures.

The CDM Assurance Manager will develop and maintain a network of consultants and specialists who can assist the CDM Assurance Manager in undertaking compliance assurance checks at key stages of construction/maintenance activities. This will confirm that CDM compliance requirements have been met and that integration and co-ordination of any discrete or overlapping activities have been properly considered such that there is consistency of approach to compliance with CDM 2015.

About You:

The succesful candidate will hold a Membership of IOSH and NEBOSH Construction Certificate.

Having experience of managing or advising on health and safety at work issues in a medium to large sized organisation and of Construction Health & Safety including carrying out site inspections.

Have excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with a network of consultants. Being IT literate including Word and Excel.
