Marketing & Communications Director – Part Time / Flexible hours
ehouse is a well-established but fast growing technology and service company whose principle customers are estate agents. We have fantastic penthouse offices in North West London and a nationwide network to service our clients.
We are at an exciting stage in the company’s development and looking for leading professional input to move forward our B2B marketing and communications strategy and implementation. The role is primarily concerned with both refining the message/proposition as well as implementing it through every appropriate channel.
This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work part time and flexibly. Time in the office is needed to start with but there is significant potential for remote working.
B2B: This is a B2B role and we are really focused on someone who understand the appropriate strategies for that environment.
Industry: If you have direct experience of the estate agency sector you will be at a major advantage, but this is not essential.
Experience: It’s unlikely you will be able to do this job with less than 5 years’ experience within a B2B marketing discipline. Beyond that we will look at everyone and remunerate on their merits, but you really need to be able to hit the ground running with the tasks below and illustrate previous similar experience.
Strategy: You will be working with the Board and the customer team to refine and develop our integrated marketing and communications strategy. This will involve looking at the brand, the company’s image, its values, and its direction of travel.
Delivery: This is the crucial bit. As well as the strategising, the job involves the implementation of the strategy. You must have good experience in raising awareness and generating B2B leads via content strategies, paid digital channels, SEO, and PPC. We would also expect you to help us use industry events, public speaking opportunities and the press, and manage our PR.
Content and Communications: Going forward the job will involve creating content (with the help of the team) and implementing a communications strategy.
Timing: The above role sounds a lot, and there will certainly be more input at the start, but ongoing we see this as 1-2 days per week with that time spread partly to suit the needs of the role and partly to suit you. We have successfully employed others on this basis for other roles.
