Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Manager to join our Stockport Services for 37.5 Hours per week. This exciting post is an opportunity for an experienced practitioner and manager.
Mencap delivers high quality personalised support to people with a learning disability and their families. Leading dedicated teams of Support Workers, you will be an energetic and confident Service Manager.
Reporting to the Area Operations Manager, you'll be accountable for the people management and development across the service teams. This is a key role in guaranteeing the quality of our service delivery and ensuring that we are always improving. As part of our well established service managers team you will be self-motivated and determined, you should have a passion for positive change and the confidence to make difficult decisions under pressure.
As a service manager you will preferably have experience in autism and positive behaviour management, and a strong track record in managing teams.
You will managing the support for people living in their own homes across 2 properties. You will have full support to help you settle in your new role from our excellent and strong senior management team.

An enhanced DBS check is required for the successful candidate.
