Financial Systems Project Lead
The role of the Financial Systems Project Lead involves managing the process of implementing improvements for business systems, understanding business change needs and assessing the business impact of those changes. The role will work as part of the Group Finance team based in Central London. Responsibilities include: creating work & budget plans for projects, detailed understanding of the technical and process aspects of the project, directing and leading projects, working with external software developers and consultants. The main function of the role will be ensuring good end to end project management including gathering requirements, solution creation, testing and training.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (or nearly qualified), with previous experience of working on financial system implementations and a strong understanding of financial & internal controls. You should also have experience of leading projects and creating project plans etc. Strong technical IT skills are highly advantageous (i.e. VBA/ SQL/ data manipulation and analysis). Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
