A unique position has opened up to own the online and product marketing for a new Web Design company. The company boasts an all encompassing E-commerce solution for SME's with design, marketing and photography included.

Your role will be to help attract and retain our growing customer base, launch and build out our digital channels and execute, analyse and improve all acquisition performance. You will craft the messaging and positioning for products. You'll conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. You will be the expert in the market and our current and potential clients, how they buy and their buying criteria, and will transfer that knowledge to the sales team. The role is yours for the shaping and may include PR and branding as time goes on. You will report directly to the founders and partners and work alongside the sales team.

Role specifics:
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates the agency and its service in the market
  • Sales enablement - communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and help develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products
  • Product launch - help create the products roadmap, plan the launch of new products & services, and manage the execution and analysis of all relevant digital channels
  • Market intelligence - be the expert on our potential customers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on our new and upcoming competition and their strengths and weaknesses
  • Demand generation - develop the strategy and manage the various short term and long term tactics to acquisition and retention
  • Be the brand guardian of all content and messaging, ensuring that the website, emails, social and all channels are aligned and pushing for the right objectives.
  • 3+ years of software product marketing experience for B2B
  • 3+ years experience of digital marketing including Paid Acquisition channels (Adwords, LinkedIn etc), Organic Acquisition channels (SEO, social media, referral traffic), web content and CMS uploading and affiliates
  • Very strong written communication skills
  • Willing to travel to exhibitions or clients approximately 25% of the time
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with staff, colleagues and cross-functional teams, and third parties. Ability to grow out a team as the business expands
