Assistant to two directors for a Family owned Engineering Company with Sales and Service capability for high end equipment, supplied through our partner in Germany.
Role involves support for sales to service planning, and handover of projects. There is some appointment making, travel arrangements, as well as general office administration tasks involved in the role. Arranging quotes for sub contract work, support for service engineers will also be involved. Customer contact includes via phone, email & Meet and Greet on site customers plus arranging of some entertainments for working lunches, open house and attendance at exhibitions.
Office software knowledge essential, Customer Relations Management experience desirable.Good communication and a flexible approach is essential.
very occasional visit to a customer site might be part of a growing role in the future as will be social media management or Health & Safety work depending on the successful applicant.
