Our client a Media Organisation based in the City requires a motivated Delegate Sales person to start ASAP. This is a temporary role until the first week in May 2017.

The main duties are:

* Phone prospective delegates to sell conference places
* Achieve and aim to exceed monthly sales targets
* Achieve and aim to exceed daily KPI's on the telephone - connected calls, proposals, call time
* Keep sales pipeline document up to date for reporting purposes
* Report and forecast business accurately on a weekly and monthly basis
* Conduct research
* Assist with delegate enquiries and up sell other conference or seminars where appropriate
* Assist with invoicing
* Assist on-site when needed
* Manage and increase the conference database through research to improve data quality
* Support marketing activities surrounding the event, including e-mail and postal campaigns
* Liaise with the Editorial team to maintain current knowledge of Company products

Skills and Experience

* Proven delegate sales experience
* Demonstrated motivation to build a career in sales
* A strong track record of achieving successful results
* Educated to degree level
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills and ability to network
* Customer focus with the ability to build credibility and rapport over the phone and in person
* Able to use initiative as well as work as part of a team
* Strong co-ordination and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and targets
* Strong IT skills
* Ability to make a high volume of outbound calls
* Able to research data quickly and meticulously
* Attention to detail
