Account Manager/Relationship Manager

Award winning, agile, vibrant and fresh thinking agency specialising in brand launch requires an experienced Account Manager/Relationship Manager to join the Relationship Team which is tasked with development the client relationship from proposal to delivery, managing all aspects of projects ensuring process is efficient, transparent and profitable. This team develops partner relationships within existing clients, delivers new income from expanding its portfolio across local, regional and global teams and supports the facilitation of client workshops.

This opportunity is a pivotal role, driving the Relationship Team forward to over achieve on its ambition.

Specifically, our client is looking for someone to focus on:

Own a selection of existing clients with responsibility & accountability for the running, management and future business development of these clients
Input and support development of the organisation's approach to best in class engagement & relationship management
Support the development and delivery of our non-platform services utilising appropriate internal & external resource
Use advanced selling skills to excite, engage and retain customers
Capture project need and manage the delivery to ensure excellent outcomes that delight clients and drive profit
Facilitate stakeholder relationship building via onsite client workshops
Work collaboratively across the team to achieve business targets
Shares customer insight into the wider team to continually evolve the organisation's offerings

Required Skills & Experience:

5+ years within pharma, ideally both client & agency side having launched or been involved with a pharma brand launch
Ability to rapidly build highly professional relationships internally and externally (colleagues, free-lancers, agencies, clients)
Ability to manage challenging clients and direct them towards agreed objectives
Author inspiring client proposals, quotations & business cases
Keen eye for process and rigour to drive profitable execution of projects
Outgoing, determined and enthusiastic, relishes meeting new people and providing solutions and ideas to client challenges
Excellent communication skills
A commercial eye, spots an opportunity and runs with it
Excellent negotiation skills
A team player that's excited by opportunities to innovate (proof of concepts, adapting projects to fit new opportunities)
Keen eye for detail and highly organised
