WYCC Partnership Officer

Fixed Term until September 2019​

£25,832 with progression to £28,223 pa pro rata

The West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges (WYCC) is a partnership between the seven Further Education Colleges in West Yorkshire. In 2016, the seven colleges developed a new Joint Venture that unites the region’s further education sector to work together to help improve the skills of the local workforce and ultimately  improve productivity across the Leeds City Region.

As a result the WYCC is now seeking experienced individuals to join its team in delivering a number of skills projects across Leeds City Region funded through the European Strategic Investment Fund. The funding will deliver a number of three year projects designed to improve the skills levels of individuals working together with partners and stakeholders to fulfil the region’s skills priorities.

The post holder will be part of the project delivery team under the new Joint Venture developed by in collaboration between to the seven FE Colleges in West Yorkshire, the West Yorkshire Consortium of Colleges (WYCC). As Partnership Officer, you will support the Partnership Director in ensuring consistent communications are deployed across a wide- ranging number of stakeholders involved in the Leeds City Region Skills Network and our portfolio of EU funded projects.

The Partnership Officer will be responsible for maintaining an awareness of developments within the WYCC across the Leeds City Region Skills Network, the regions priority sectors and funding organisations enabling the Consortium to effectively engage in new opportunities.

Success in the role will see the post holder effectively communicating the Consortium vision and ambitions to the right partners and key stakeholders, ensuring all are kept well informed, and ensuring ongoing and efficient dissemination of WYCC results

The Partnership Officer will be responsible for managing the key contacts database,maintaining WYCC online presence and managing the work plans to expedite external engagements, WYCC Board meetings & supporting in the facilitation of key project events.
