Operational Transformation and Development Director
HM Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is looking for an exceptional individual to play a key role in the delivery of some of the most significant reforms to ever take place within our justice system. We are looking for a proven leader to help lead the transformation, overseeing the effective delivery of very large operational areas whilst contributing to the development and implementation of radically new ways of working.
As an executive agency of the Ministry of Justice (MOJ), HMCTS employees 17,000 staff and is committed to ensuring we provide access to justice for all parts of our society.
With oversight of 3,000 – 5,000 staff, you will be accountable for ensuring frontline services perform strongly whilst at the same time delivering transformational change. You will take a lead role in the development of reform across HMCTS, working with a wide range or stakeholders and partners to ensure this change is a success. Supported by a strong management team, you will be responsible for influencing national policy and strategy, and translating this into effective delivery.
To succeed in the role, you will be a strong and resilient leader who has delivered significant transformational change in a complex environment. You will also be able to negotiate, influence and deliver both locally and at the most senior levels.
