Service Portfolio Manager - Leading IT Managed Services Provider

GBP70,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits

My client, a leading Provider of IT Managed Services, require an experienced Service Portfolio Manager. The successful candidate will manage and deliver an effective continual service improvement process that will ensure products and services continue to be fit for purpose; through the highest standards of integrity, efficiency, knowledge and co-operation.

Requirements:

  • Ensure provision and quality of relevant services throughout their life cycle to meet customer and company objectives
  • Ensure services are clearly defined, scoped and documented in line with both company and industry standards
  • Maintain and establish partnerships with existing and new key vendors to effectively deliver the managed services portfolio
  • Develop, implement and review service components, taking into consideration all aspects of life cycle
  • Be a co-leader of the Product Management Governance Forum in which the alignment of services and portfolios is determined and actioned
  • Create, shape and provide the business case, where necessary, to support good decision-making regarding the acceptance of a service portfolio enhancement
  • Working with finance understand in detail the financial aspects of the services and drive P&L improvement, be that revenue, cost or efficiency
  • Determining pricing strategy to align with target markets
  • Providing contextual market insight and competitive intelligence
  • Production and life cycle management of Client-Facing, Sales Enabling collateral with regard to the current service portfolio, including (but not limited to):
    • Detailed Service Descriptions
    • Client Facing Service Overviews
    • Sales Training Material
    • Pricing Models
  • High and sustained CSAT performance of the services in the portfolio
  • Financial performance of the service against agreed KPI's or targets
  • Performance against operational metrics

Skills:

  • Very strong leadership skills and the ability to manage virtual teams
  • Comfortable engaging at C' level with clients
  • Very strong subject matter expertise
  • Able to engage at detailed and conceptual level to create strategies and plans that are both effective and timely
  • ITIL subject matter expert with proven expertise of implementation
  • Has worked in an SI or complex IT environment. Seasoned in managing through complexity
