LOCATION: Chirnside, Duns, Berwickshire

SALARY & BENEFITS: In region of GBP26 - 30K depending on experience

WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday

THE COMPANY: Our client is based within the Scottish Borders and is internationally recognised as a market leader in the design, process manufacture and marketing of specialist and nonwoven products. They are now seeking a Customer Service Specialist for their Customer Service Department in Duns, Berwickshire.

THE ROLE: The successful candidate for the Customer Service Specialist role will be working within a small team. You will have your own portfolio of customers with the below responsibilities:

•Primary customer contact and internally within the Order-to-Cash processes.
•Order-to-cash process including maintenance of customer data, order entry, order confirmation, monitoring of delivery and invoices, follow-up of customer over-dues and complaints.
•Customer contact point as required promoting good relationship with the customers
•Communicate with plants and Supply chain on customer service matters.
•Travel domestically/ internationally (when required)


Essential criteria for the Customer Service Specialist role:

Must live within a commutable distance to Duns, Berwickshire
Must have own transport due to location of role

Desirable criteria for the Customer Service Specialist role:
Bachelor's degree experience in customer service, preferably manufacturing
PC skills and mathematical competency
Interpersonal and communication skills verbal and written, outstanding communication and people skills.
Ability to speak minimum of two languages, preferably one of: English, German, Italian, Russian, Spanish.
