We are looking for a Principal Project Manager to join our Digital Project Delivery team and manage a range of strategic, application and infrastructure projects and initiatives.
So if you can influence relationships with senior sponsors and stakeholders and prioritise changing demands, whilst still ensuring that your projects are of the delivered to highest standard, to time and within budget, then we want to hear from you.
The attached Role Profile will give you the full role details, but as Principal Digital Project Manager within Digital Services, you can expect to;
• ensure that programmes, projects and initiatives achieve agreed objectives within time, cost and quality constraints
• apply and promote the use of a range of best-practice project management lifecycle methods (agile, waterfall etc) to meet varying demands
• focus on financial management, high impact changes management, strategic risks and issues, and benefits realisation
• manage and influence Stakeholder and external supplier relationships, understanding their priorities and demands
• manage and sourcing internal and external resources that are allocated to projects and initiatives
You have extensive experience of successfully delivering digital projects and programmes and managing the interdependencies between them. You have worked with multi-disciplinary teams and used best practice methodologies for tracking deliverables, reporting and risk management. You are extremely organised and ensure that you deliver the highest level of quality against time and financial constraints. You are resilient with strong management and communication skills and influence stakeholder relationships.
Our Digital Project Delivery Team will provide an end-to-end technical delivery of a portfolio of projects that responds to Department for Transports needs and priorities, applying a number of modern delivery methods and techniques.

You will have the option of being based at either our London or Hastings office with some home working available. However, you will be required to take a flexible approach to ensure business needs are met.
Successful candidates based in Hastings will attract a G7 national salary of GBP46,696 as will those who are not based in London for at least 3 days a week.
