This is an exciting time to join Defra as we look to forge our future approach to the environment and agriculture outside the Europeran Union. The successful candidate will have a proven track record and extensive experience with managing complex programmes and projects in a legislative context. You will be a natural leader, with enthusiasm and energy to motivate and inspire teams. As a credible influencer you will be able to build complex relationships with a range of senior stakeholders including in the devolved administrations. You will be a confident communicator, able to engage successfully in high profile areas with an understanding of handling highly politically sensitive issues.
