Leeds Beckett University is an exciting, modern University in one of the most vibrant student cities in the UK. Within the University there is a strong, centralised IT department with a remit to deliver forward looking and creative solutions in support of learning, teaching and research, along with the student experience as a whole.
To help in achieving our objectives we are now looking for a Business Analyst to be part of our Programme Management Office team contributing to and supporting the delivery of our University IT Strategy.
The role is being recruited alongside a Grade 7 Senior Business Analyst who will be the direct line manager for this post as we aim to build and strengthen our business analysis services.
The post holder will gain a functional understanding of our University's business processes and will use this to inform future IT opportunity proposals. They will work with stakeholders of all levels across our University and use their experience to drive process improvements that compliment technology enhancements.
The ideal candidate will have a recognised business analysis qualification and significant higher education or public sector experience.
This role also requires strong organisational skills, good oral, written and interpersonal communications skills, as well as a passion for delivering best-in-class customer experience.
Although ideally this role is a full time position, we may be able to accommodate flexible working hours over a reduced number of days or compressed hours.
