Commercial Sales Manager - South West - Excellent salary package

We are recruiting for a Commercial Sales Manager to oversee the day to day sales marketing operations of a successful product company.

You will handle daily business issues and recognise and pursue business opportunities. You are constantly communicating and negotiating with clients or business associates. You will be continuously working to strategically expand, preserve, develop and improve the company's sales marketing procedures while sticking to business edicts.

You will be responsible for generating the commercial income for the company, assisting the directors and handling the client accounts and corporate relationships that fall under a commercial managers portfolio whilst working with a small but cohesive team. You will need to ensure the financial aspects and impact of a contract are clear to all parties. If required you will resolve contractual and commercial problems, offering direction and instruction and reviewing, scrutinising, and developing operational process flows.

You will need to look for opportunities and markets to grow the business, whether through partnerships or new initiatives, and then take advantage of those opportunities. You will be expected to analyse sales and give insight into how the company can make adjustments to improve performance and ensure parties in a contract understand the terms, particularly a contract's financial aspects. You'll need to also assess risks and makes recommendations based on a thorough analysis of all factors involved in a business situation. To cap it all off you will need to coach employees on best practices for managing accounts and handling daily issues and tasks and accept extra duties as the situation arises, working efficiently and calmly to tight deadlines or to other stress factors as they arise.
