Have you taken a career break from engineering and want to return? This is your opportunity!

We are currently looking for candidates who have taken a career break from engineering and now want to return to join our STEM Returners programme in positions based right across the UK within the UK Naval Defence industry.

The programme is a structured, paid 13-week employment placement with the aim of leading to a full-time job offer at the end of the programme.  Alongside the experience gained from the work placement, STEM Returners provides vital support for the returner including confidence building, training, career coaching, networking opportunities and peer support.

Although people acquire multiple skills on career breaks (such as organisation and project management), those looking to return after a significant break often find it difficult to articulate their value to employers within a work environment.  This programme facilitates a direct route back into your former career! No career break is too long.

We are currently looking for returning engineers in any of the following backgrounds:

  • Electrical Engineer
  • ILS Engineer
  • Naval Architect
  • Buildings / Civils Engineer
  • Design Engineers
  • Mechanical Engineer
  • Software Engineer
  • Systems Engineer
  • Quality Engineer
  • Technical Sales

Apply now to register to return to STEM!
