Finance Analyst (Graduate)
We have an exciting opportunity for a graduate to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team. You will study CIMA over the next 3 years, qualifying as a chartered management accountant, aiming to rotate into another role within the Finance area during the second year, providing an excellent platform to start a career in finance and for further progression within the Finance or wider business teams.

As a graduate Finance Analyst you will support a Finance Manager focussing on our EMEA central cost base or the Northern Region business. You will rotate into one of six other roles within the Finance area in the second year, providing an excellent platform to start a career in finance and for further progression within the Finance or wider business teams.
To be a success in this role you will be commercially astute, enjoy problem solving, be able to plan and prioritise effectively and have experience of generating insight to drive business decisions.
You will need outstanding communication skills to help you to effectively communicate complex concepts, and you will be confident in challenging your internal stakeholders.

Core activities will include:
- Supporting business initiatives and helping the functional team understand the end to end cost performance across the business.
- Identifying opportunities to drive financial and operational performance improvement through regular and ad-hoc insight and analysis.
- Forecasting and planning related costs.
- Supporting the FP&A team with the production of the monthly performance reports, using profitability flow tracks, and providing commentary and analysis for the Leadership Team.
In this role, we will support your development by helping you to learn to use a range of resources to create insightful and compelling analysis to constructively challenge and support business decision making. Through identifying key drivers allowing easy issue/opportunity resolution.
You will learn best practice in Process Improvement by Interacting with a wide range of stakeholders to bring collaborative solutions to improve the usability and understanding of analysis to enhance the understanding of information and therefore the quality of decision making.
We will teach you business optimisation enabling you to provide analytical support to teams to ensure commercial and operational decisions taken are in line with the business plan and therefore maximises revenue opportunities and minimises cost leakage.
A key part of the role you will learn is managing the forecasting and planning process as to support timely decision making that supports business strategy.
