The Salary & Benefits

The company pay a basic pay rate of £7.65 per hour increasing to £8.00 after a successful 12 week qualifying period. FGH are a choice employer in the local area

FGH have a Bonus structure in place for working quickly and accurately after completion of a 12 week qualifying period, allowing you to earn up to £4.50 per hour in addition to your hourly rate.

Freemans Grattan Holdings (FGH) - Located in BD8 - has a subsidised canteen, free car parking and you could also take advantage of the staff sales scheme to purchase discounted items.

There are temp-perm opportunites after a successful 12 week qualifying period.

Job Requirements for Pick Pack Warehouse Operative

* Picking mainstream and next day items and allocate tickets to ensure the catalogue numbers are correct.
* Ensuring all elements including Jewellery and hanging items are collated prior to packing.
* Maintaining agreed levels of quality and productivity.
* Taking responsibility for the Health and Safety of self and others.
* Ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly.
* Working to an Unit Hour (UHR) Target.
* Minimising errors.

Similar experience within a fast moving warehouse environment would be advantageous. Two weeks initial training is provided.

The Person

To be successful in this role you will need to:

* Be able to do both a picking and packing role.
* Be able to quickly and accurately read pick sheets, labels and item codes.
* Have excellent attendance and timekeeping.
* Good communication skills.
* Work well within a team.
* Drive and motivation.
* A careful eye for detail.
* Show a high level of flexibility.

Standard Core hours are Saturday and Sunday 08:00am until 17:30pm. Weekend working only.

Due to the nature of the business you will need to be flexible in the hours you work as they can change at short notice. Our Client can operate a “Flex Up” shift which may mean your hours are increased at short notice to meet demand.
