Sewell Wallis are currently recruiting for an experienced part-time Accounts Assistant to join a busy and successful company based in Leeds on a permanent basis.

Due to the company’s outstanding reputation and growing success, they now require an additional Accounts Assistant to join the team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with all round accounts experience and who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.

The role will give you exposure to key finance people and is a great opportunity to gain some further accounts preparation experience.

You will be joining a friendly finance team and have access to a fantastic benefits package, free parking, flexible working hours and use of onsite facilities.

Your main duties will include assisting in: -

• Preparing and sending invoices/credit notes
• Processing company receipts
• Managing petty cash
• Reconciling bank statements
• Preparing journals
• Assisting with payroll
• Monitoring budgets
• Maintaining financial records
• Assisting with credit control
• Dealing with queries

This role is for you if: -

• Have previous experience of working in an all round accounts role
• Be used to working in a busy finance department
• Have excellent financial and numeracy skills
• Be able to work quickly and accurately
• Have the ability to work on your own initiative but also comfortable working as part of a team
• Be highly organised
• Have a flexible attitude and ‘can do’ approach
