Overview of Role

* administrative support for key university committees relating to learning, teaching and student support;
* supporting the academic endeavours of the University, through the provision of advice and guidance on expected national and University standards;
* quality assurance of the academic provision and learning support for students;
* the maintenance of all related records on the central student record system, and provision of key management information in those areas;
* administrative support for academic delivery, course management and administration, student management, and regulatory operations, from the initial registration to the graduation of students;
* providing information, advice and guidance directly to students on a range of personal, financial, legal and academic matters.

Experience Required

* Demonstrable experience of working in an administrative office environment, using modern office equipment;Experience of data entry
* IT literate, including word, email, internet use, and database applications;
* Excellent interpersonal skills;
* Good communication skills in emails, formal letters and in person;
* Good grammar and spelling and attention to detail;
* Able to multi-task and prioritise;
* Flexible and able to work under pressure;
* An adaptable team member who on occasions is able to work on own initiative, unsupervised;
* Strong work ethic;
* An understanding of good customer service delivery
