We are looking for an experienced Internal Sales Consultant to join the Training and

Consulting team at a leading organisation in Northampton, specialising in factory automation and Pneumatics.

Part time 15-20 hours per week

You will be securing Training and Consulting sales opportunities by working closely with the field sales specialists to provide proactive sales support. Providing back-up support where necessary for course administration and ensuring high levels of customer service are maintained.

Duties/Responsibilities

* · Provide regular sales projections as requested, based on up to date knowledge of customers and ongoing opportunities.
* · Acquire the knowledge that is necessary to develop business according to plan and share any knowledge that would give competitive advantages in the Market.
* · Ensure personal activities deliver excellent experiences for all stakeholders.
* · Plan personal sales activities effectively, regularly reviewing and managing the data including Orbis, SFA, Pipedrive, SharePoint and SAP to ensure they are accurate and completely up to date in line with company procedures.
* · Fully engage with all assigned sales campaigns, to achieve related activity targets and deliver agreed campaign goals.
* · Manage time effectivley to achieve the required balance of market development, lead generation, opportunity management, quotation follow-up, post-course follow-up and customer service calls to ensure current and future sales targets are achieved.
* · Assist with Opinion Leading events such as UK Skills, exhibitions, hosted events and to co-ordinate all STEM related activities.
* · Provide professional and efficient support to all customers both external and internal. Delivering professional standards of quote/proposal generation in line with company policy

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

* · Have an excellent understanding of standard IT tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Sharepoint.
* · Must be proficient in the use of social media and must demonstrate high competence in use of critical CRM systems such as Orbis, SAP, SFA. Pipedrive etc.
* · An exceptional communicator in verbal and written form.
* · Experienced in selling training or other services via the telephone.
* · A strong team player, trustworthy and capable of working in a ‘self-managing team/matrix’ structure. They must be flexible and agile enough to deal with a dynamic and changing environment.
* · Experience in dealing with training and consultancy services in a business to business environment would be desirable but not essential
