Private Site/Festival Fundraising
Role: Private Site Fundraiser
Charity: Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF)
Hours: Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-6pm
Pay: £9.75ph minimum, plus £10 per day for travel
2017 was the best year yet for Medecins Sans Frontieres private site fundraising team. Due to their phenomenal success, they are looking to grow their team of dedicated private site fundraisers in London in 2018.
The Role: As a private site fundraiser you will visit different locations such as railway stations, markets and shopping centres (and throughout the summer, festivals!) each day with your team. You will engage in conversations with members of the public, raising awareness about the incredible work that Medecins Sans Frontieres do around the globe. Ultimately, you will be inspiring people to become a long term donor through an ongoing donation.
As part of the role you'll have the opportunity to work at some of the UK's biggest festivals, events and exhibitions. Last year the team went to Camp Bestival, Lattitude and British Summer Time!
Who are MSF?: Medecins Sans Frontieres/Doctors Without Borders (MSF) deliver medical aid where it is needed the most. Their medical teams act fast to save lives in conflict zones, natural disasters and epidemics. They are independent, neutral and impartial - meaning that rather than obtain funding from governments and organisations, MSF rely on donations from members of the public.
* £9.75-13ph, guaranteed - this is NOT a commission based role!
* £10 per day travel allowance
* Full training and ongoing coaching
* Regular socials with your team
* Work at some of the UK's biggest festivals this summer! Last summer, the team went to Latitude, Camp Bestival and British Summer Time - just to name a few!
We're looking for highly driven, motivated and passionate people to join the team at MSF. Successful applicants will be truly passionate and enthusiastic about the work that MSF do. They will also be confident, sociable and ready to kick start their exciting new career!
