Are you passionate about enabling people to gain skills, achieve their rights and get their voice heard?
Just Services has an exciting opportunity, working with older and disabled people, people with learning difficulties and mental health problems in community settings. The work is to represent people who are being deprived of their liberty by using Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards to support them.
You will be expected to support individuals and groups to gain and develop independence skills and to achieve maximum independence in their lives, and to support individuals who are considered to be in need of safeguards.
You need:

Experience of working cooperatively
-
Experience of supporting individuals to gain skills and independence
-
Experience of working with individuals/ groups of people who are considered to be ‘vulnerable’
-
Understanding of the Mental Health Act and Deprivation of Liberty safeguards
-
Understanding of Adult Safeguarding
-
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal; ability to communicate in plain language
-
Ability to communicate effectively with other professionals
-
Flexibility both in terms of hours and tasks

Ability to work as part of a small team
-
Ability to travel as part of the job (mainly within Leicester and Leicestershire)
SALARY IS PRO RATA: HOURS 20 PER WEEK
Salary: £15,392.00 /year pro rata
