Part Time SEN Teaching Assistant ***

*** £70-£80 Daily Rate ***

We are currently seeking for an experienced enthusiastic and motivated SEN teaching assistant for a secondary school based in Southall. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you must be keen to start immediately and can hit the ground running.

The right SEN Teaching Assistant will be contributing to create conditions for all our students to help them experience success and develop their progress in learning. You will be required to work closely supporting the students and you will need to have a good rapport and understanding of each individual’s needs. The candidate must be confident in their ability to support the children by working with the students physical prompts and techniques to help them to engage in the curriculum.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will also promote the acceptance and inclusion of the pupil with SEN, encouraging pupils to interact with each other in an appropriate and acceptable manner.
Key responsibilities for the candidate:

- Promoting written and verbal English skills
- Creating a stimulating and welcoming learning environment to support
the pupils
- Facilitating learning by differentiation instruction
- Encourage appropriate social interactions with the pupils
- Being supportive with the pupils at all times
- Excellent classroom skills

Please only apply if you have the following:

- Teaching Assistant qualification based in the UK
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Hold a current and up to date DBS (or be willing to apply for one)
- Has SEN experience in a UK based school
