We are well-established and successful family run business based in Farnborough, who specialise in the management and transport of large scale luxury goods. Working closely with our suppliers and clients we provide excellent customer service at all times, delivering to our customers worldwide to ensure their needs are met to the highest standard.

Due to staff movement we are seeking a Part-Time Accounts Assistant who is fully competent with Sage to join our small but friendly team, working 4 hours per day 16 hours per week. In return we can offer a competitive salary of up to £15 per hour, 20 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays (pro rata), free residential parking and a pension scheme.

Reporting into the Managing Director and working alongside the finance administrator, the Part-Time Account Assistant will be using Sage on a daily basis and acting as the finance reference point for the company.

The main duties will be:-

* Purchase and sales ledger
* Reconciliations, balance sheets and Trial balance
* Yearend preparation
* Annual company VAT returns
* Processing internal payroll
* Producing management Information reports
* Processing Expenses
* Invoice processing
* Profit and loss calculations
* Paying contractors
* Dealing with aged debt and aged credit
* Processing multi-currency bank payments
* Answering the telephone and taking messages during busy periods
* Additional duties where required

It is imperative that you have worked within a similar role within business, gaining an understanding of how a company works. AAT qualification is desirable, however not essential. Therefore in order to be successful as the Part-Time Accounts Assistant, proficiency with Sage is essential, as is experience with VAT. The ability to process payroll is highly desirable, however not essential due to training being available. Intermediate to advance Word/Excel and Outlook knowledge are essential.
