We are currently recruiting for a part time Network Administrator to work within a higher education organization

The postholder is a key member of team; you will be supporting the Management Team in the co-ordination of the project activities, meetings and secondment, maintaining up to date communication with various collaborators/stakeholders, maintaining the website and scheduling deadlines and deliverables.

Main Duties
To provide holistic administrative support to MAKERS Management Team by assisting in planning and undertaking routine office procedures, including photocopying, preparing documents (electronic and hard copies), establishing and maintaining an electronic and paper filing system for all formal project management and any associated documents including reviews and dissemination materials

To provide administrative support to MAKERS Management Team and Consortium meetings as and when required. As part of this, the role holder will book rooms, take and write up minutes.

To prepare/book refreshments, hospitality and accommodation for all MAKERS'events.

To book travel and accommodation for MAKERS Management Team and visitors.

To assist the MAKERS Management Team in the entry of data into corporate systems and databases

To implement the day to day project coordination tasks with the PI, MAKERS Management Team leaders

To actively liaise with partners to coordinate administrative aspects of the project such as the management of deadlines for project deliverables and communication between the PI and the partners

Current responsibilities:
Booking travel and hotels
Process expense claims for the team
Formatting documents
Looking after the secondment spreadsheet,
Updating the numbers regularly
Updating the GANTT chart
Updating the portal with MAKERS information
Researcher declaration
Updating and editing the MAKERS website
Sending reminder emails to MAKERS partners
Events - confirming attendance
Sending through publications
Updates about secondments
Secondment plans /report
Sending timesheets to Research Support Services
General filing
Liaising with partners to assist with external events
Organising events at the Birmingham business school
