Leeds College of Building is the UK's only specialist further education construction college. We have an excellent reputation for providing quality education in Construction and the Built Environment and are looking for casual Assessors to work within our HE Construction, Design & Management team.

You will be required to assess and gather evidence to build candidates' portfolios from Level 3 (potentially up to level 6) enabling them to meet NVQ and skills standards requirements. Responsibilities also include carrying out candidate's inductions, enrolment and profiling. You will be required to visit candidates on site in the West Yorkshire region and throughout the UK where necessary; therefore the ability to use your own car is essential.

You should have a relevant qualification and recent industry experience and ideally appropriate professional body membership. Possession of or willingness to work towards assessor/IQA qualifications together with Level 2 Literacy/Numeracy qualifications i.e. GCSE (A*-C) in English and Maths are essential.

In return we offer an excellent benefits package which, for this post, includes an excellent pension scheme (Teachers Pensions), free parking at all of our College sites on a first come first served basis, family friendly policies and opportunities for training and development.

Please note that all applications should be completed online. Please visit the vacancies section of our website press APPLY and we will send you details.

Closing date: Monday 30th April 2018 at 12 Noon
