A Big 4 firm with a UK presence part of a global network of firms. This firm offers Audit, Tax, Consulting and Deal Advisory services. With offices across the UK, this Big 4 accountancy practice work's with organisations from small start-ups and individuals to major multinationals. They work within 23 industry sectors, from Corporates to Financial Services, Infrastructure to Government, Energy to Retail, Healthcare to Hospitality. Due to growth within the firm, this practice is looking to recruit multiple corporate tax professionals.
Your new role
The successful applicant for this Corporate Tax Assistant Manager role will have responsibility for providing corporate and international tax advice to a wide range of financial institution clients. Your client base will be some of the largest financial institutions including investments funds, pension funds, challenger banks, building societies and life assurance companies in the UK. In addition, this firm works with a number of US investment funds, Canadian funds and sovereign wealth funds. The right candidate will also be responsible for the coaching and development of more junior members of staff and assisting with business development work, including attending client events and networking events.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this Corporate Tax opportunity, you will have experience of working within a corporate tax department within practice, ideally, in managing a portfolio consisting of clients within financial services. You will ideally be CTA, CA, ACA or ACCA qualified and have a commercial approach to resolving issues and providing advice. You will have a strong inter-personal skills to identify and pursue business opportunities, with a high level of drive and enthusiasm with a positive attitude.
