C4 Care are looking to Recruit Senior Healthcare Assistants Who have completed their NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, to provide a range of care and ancillary tasks in accordance with care policies, standards and procedures.

To support, supervise and to lead a team of Health Care Assistants to deliver the highest standards of patient care.

Main Duties and Responsibilities.

To provide leadership and direction to a team of Health Care Assistants ensuring high standards of care and to keep the standards of service as required by the management.
To work as part of a team to deliver nursing/Residential Personal care as required, and to be hands on when required.
To assist in planning and implementing care, to keep records and documentation as required to evidence best practise.
To observe patient’s health and if necessary provide appropriate interventions and or to contact other health professionals.
To administer medication in line with the Homes policy.
To maintain a dignified, safe and stimulating service where patients are encouraged to exercise choice and promote independence.
To ensure individuals rights and responsibilities are retained by treating everyone with respect.
To provide care services which are appropriate to the needs of patients and that have been agreed with them.
To contribute to the care planning process.
To participate in maintaining and updating patient records to the required standards, with proper reference to the ethics and confidentiality of recording practice.
To assist in administering health care treatments under instruction and supervision from suitably qualified medical professionals.
To liaise with external agencies, family members and carers as required.
To provide the services to individuals, including some or all of those listed below, as per the agreed care plans.
